Our insurance program is designed for the individual Complementary Health Care Practitioner operating out of their home, visiting clients in their home or place of work, or in a clinic. The program only provides coverage for the modalities listed on the application and/or certificate. Any other therapies or modalities practiced by you are deemed outside the scope of this policy.
We have designed our insurance program to include both Professional Liability and Commercial General Liability coverages in one convenient package.
COVERAGE SUMMARY
Professional Liability
Coverage protects you for injury to your client arising out of the treatment or application of your insured services. Coverage is written on a claims - made basis which requires you to advise the insurance company of any possible situation that could give rise to a claim
when you are first made aware of the possibility of future action. You must notify Impact Insurance Brokers immediately and advise them of the circumstances.
$2,000,000 limit of liability any one occurrence
$4,000,000 aggregate in one year for all claims filed by the group
Commercial General Liability
Coverage is provided for legal liability for property damage or bodily injury (exclusive of services performed) to third parties.
$2,000,000 limit of liability any one occurrence
$4,000,000 aggregate in one year for all claims filed by the group
$2,500 no-fault medical payments per person/$25,000 per accident
$200,000 Tenants Legal Liability - All Risks
Property Coverages
Property insurance is designed to cover your contents, at your place of work including your desks, beds or computers for loss due to physical damage,
subject to standard exclusions. Coverage is all risks, replacement cost basis and subject to a deductible of $1,000 in any one loss.
Exclusions
terrorism, data problem, mould, asbestos, war, hepatitis/aids
Both policies are subject to a deductible of $500 for any one loss.
